I can not get the List views I want to save

The main reason I purchased this file manager was so I didn't have to adjust my views each time I opened a different folder. We all know explorer was suppose to remember your views but fell way short. I have figured out how to get them the way I want but they all wont stay there. I have tried saving the views to default nothing seems to work. Here is one example
My Documents folder will stay the way I want it however the sub folders inside of my documents will not.
I dont care to see the type of file. I right click it and turn off but when i leave & return its back. The F Icon for save does not seem to work correctly.
I can save by closing the program and get it to stay off. Not sure ?????

Your description of your issue makes it just a bit hard to determine exactly what it is since it could be a nbr of things...so as a first attempt, I'll ask if you've read this part of wiki http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/Fo ... w_Settings? Is that what you're talking about?

Is there a way to set the default folder view for all folders on the computer without having to change each one?
I realize I may not want them all the same. But that would be only a few to change.

Glad you got the needed answers! We're here to help so don't hesitate to use this forum if you're baffled...all we ask is that you do some research first, like using built-in help and the wiki, and/or searching this forurm...the only thing that somewhat bugs some of us are threads that repeat a topic that was covered very recently...
