lets start with a session that has two tabs open and the second tab having focus on Y:\somefolder with subfolders expanded out in tree and folder list
S: is collapsed
Now click on first tab which was last on s:\techworks\projects
now drill down to a file, copy it and click on second tab.
I'm expecting to see Y:\somefolder, but nope, its expanded out S:\techworks\projects!
WHY
if its going to do that, whats the point in multiple independant tabs???
Is there some sync configuration setting I am missing?
Please give me a split screen instead of multiple tabs so both source and target are visible and I can drag and drop between without loosing my view.
Thanks in advance
Grant
why does tab keep expanding folders when gets focus
Re: why does tab keep expanding folders when gets focus
If you talk about expanding the tree, then you need to give some more info (maybe a screenshot would be best).
Re split pane: Already possible if you're running a somewhat current release of XY.
It's called Dual Pane around here, just search the forum (or wiki) for that term.
