Wouldn't it be cool to use XY instead for these dialogs? Cool, yes. Simple? No. Note to Donald that I do not expect this to be done... but it would be cool to be able to trash explorer.exe and have the system run 10x faster

Unrealistic wish: replace windows' common dialogs
I have gotten to like XY enough to be frustrated when I go to open a file in another program, and I have to use explorer to locate the file I wish to open. The same goes for saving. All these dialogs are located in comdlg32.dll, and I imagine they just use an explorer sub-window to show the files.
