tab folder name only and duplicates

I really like the folder name only feature for tabs but it doesnt work in a lot of case.
Typically in a SVN directory structure
branches\DirA
trunk\DirA

If i open both at the same time, i dont know which one is what.
The tab extension for explorer dealt with that (http://qttabbar.wikidot.com/) by if recognizing those duplicates and displaying all dirs from the last one to first different one in both tabs.

Could we have something like that in XY?

Sounds like a clever way to handle it. I'll do some other stuff first and come back to this after a bump.
