Change file selection color

Is it possible to change the active file/folder selection color. I dislike XP's blue selection. I'm able to change the color using XP Display properties, but it looks even ugly.
Now, clicking on the 'Downloads' folder appears like the left picture. Is it possible to change the appearance like the one on right

In the image, I have emulated that by assigning purple tag to 'Downloads' folder

So, using XP Display properties you cannot achieve this color you want? I think it's not a bad idea to have this important (!) color the same everywhere in the system. It's also used in all edit boxes for example (where I cannot change it programmatically). If you'd change it just for the list (and tree?) it would be quite confusing.
