auto complete recent used items

According to the help file I can, in the address bar auto-complete a recent used item.
But in fact i'm unable to do it. I have several previously paths entered in the address bar but when I start typing a location it doesn't show a list of locations. Is here any configuration necessary?

Yes, look in the right column of Configuration / Advanced...

Yes I have those all ticked.

I only can see matched entries if I do Ctrl-Up or Down in the address bar after writing text.
Is this the right way or can I see matched entries immediatly as I write the text?

Oh, sorry, I should have mentioned: to get MRU popups you have to untick the "Auto-complete path/file names" items! Then the matching entries should pop up (drop down) immediately as you type.
