Show Results in on Find Files Tab

Post by phatmankerr »

Now that we have cached search results - muchos gracious :D .

Am finding that it would be incredibly useful to be able to set the 'Show Result in' option on a per search basis - so replicating this option actually on the Find Files tab would be extremely useful.

Basically most searches I want to appear in the "Search Results Tab" by Default, but specific searches (that are often used) I want to create New tabs for - this would be much simpler if the option was available on the Find Files Tab (it seems a logical place to put a setting that you may want to change on a per search basis).

Thanks

Phat

One idea would be a checkbox on Find Files / Name & Location named "Stay on this tab" or so, which would overwrite the global setting.

Like it :D - but I would probably name the checkbox - 'Results in current tab' ? To match the configuration text.

Problem is: No space on the Name & Location Tab. But enough space on the Options tab. As you wished for this, phatmankerr, could you imagine this would work for you (having the checkbox on the Options tab)?
