I *love* Xyplorer.
But what a rude awakening when I choose Open/Save from an application and I am confronted with the traditional Windows explorer UI to navigate through the file system.
Is there any way to configure Xyplorer to "sit in" for the standard Windows common open & save dialogs?

Re: Replacing Windows Common Dialogs?
No, mainly because XY is a portable file manager and as such doesn't aim at integrating into Windows in such ways that would allow (if that's even possible) to replace such windows, triggered from using Windows APIs and such.
I would guess that there might be hope that one day, however, XY could use his own windows for such file/folder selection from within itself (with benefit of using its different highlighting features, etc), but if that ever happens, that will only be for when such windows are triggered from within XY itself (save config, browse on M/C/B To, etc), but not from any other app.

Well that is too bad.
Perhaps in the future there will be some kind of integration (one can always be hopefull, right?). FWIW, here's a little something to get the mental gears turning: http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/ui_dlgs.html
Thanks for the quick reply!
