bug with special characters in file system entries

Hi,

I recently had a bit of trouble with tracker when I had either special (unicode?) or illegal characters in filenames. This can happen after copying files from a linux box onto an external drive, or downloading files that have those characters in the name via emule or something similar.

So I'm not sure exactly if calling this a bug is justified. I'm not entirely sure, but I think the characters are unicode and tracker just doesn't support that. The problem is that you can't even rename the files. You can try, but when you typed the new name and hit enter it just tells you it can't find the file [filename] will all the special characters replaced with ?. This obviously won't work since the filesystem has never heard of those names with ?. This also happens over network, so it's not the actual filesystem's fault.

if you need more information or something I can send you a unicode .txt file with the characters inside (I only see boxes in explorer as well, assuming they're chinese symbols or something, but explorer at least can rename them).
