HI,
Sort Folders Apart is not part of FVS. What you try is not possible.

Oh, I see. It's a pity.
Maybe FVS could be expanded in the future to include these settings (if it is technically possible).
Thank you for your time and this great product!

Re: FVS: Sort Folders Apart
Seeing this post i want to share this
not knowing how it will be received:
I think it would be extremely useful to have users have their own way of showing folders. Since we al have different tasks and different ways of seeing folders. And obviously adding every little setting to the FVS interface is not practical, so how about providing a field in the FVS interface to enter a script?
For example to achieve Geraldine's request, one can simple add "settingp SortFoldersApart, 1" in the field.
And everytime Geraldine opens that folder apart from other settings the script also kicks in.
This way users (including me) wont ask you to add more settings to FVS.

Re: FVS: Sort Folders Apart
Interesting idea, but not very user-friendly. I want to keep scripting out of the basic functionality.serendipity wrote:Seeing this post i want to share thisnot knowing how it will be received:

Re: FVS: Sort Folders Apart
i guess as soon as "Custom Event Actions" will be implemented it's easy to do such things in an event like "OnFolderChange"
OS: Windows 11, 64-bit, Version 25H2, Build 26200.8655 (10.0), AMD64
Monitor: 1/2 (Primary) Primary Screen DPI: 96 (100%)
