Thumbnails for EPS, AI formats

Any chance we could get thumbnail generation of advanced vector formats? (EPS, AI) I think XY already does WMF, but who even uses that format anymore? P)

There are a couple hard-to-find solutions to this online, but most involve opening an app, which completely misses the point, and those that don't require shady registry tweaks. Even if XY had to hook into Adobe DLLs or whatnot to accomplish this, it would be excellent.
