Copying the Configuration of XYPloreer to another machine
I have just started the trial version. I understand if I purchase this the license allows me to have XYplorer on 3 computers. If I have set up the version I am using and want that same format on my other machines, how do I make them identical? I realize that I would have to change some things like drives that exist on my work machine but don't exist on my home one. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the license allows for any number of computers.
You simply take all data files (*.dat) and the XYplorer.ini file with you (easier: simply copy the whole app folder -- supposing you do not use a user-defined application data path). Of course, paths (Favorites, etc.) that do not exist on a machine have to be adapted. No software has paranormal knowledge...

Well, no paranormal knowledge no, but if possible & using relative syntax, one doesn't even need to do any changes!admin wrote:Of course, paths (Favorites, etc.) that do not exist on a machine have to be adapted. No software has paranormal knowledge...
