Hi
I have alot of images with alpha channels, it is kind of disorienting to look at them with alpha channels enabled in both thumbnail and preview. Most image thumbnail apps like xnview offers disabling alpha channel. It would be great if Xyplorer has thios option, I really hate leaving Xyp to check out images properly in another application.
thanks

I thought transparency is good. Can you give an example where it is better to not show transparency?

Well all my images fall in to that category of unwanted alphas. Alpha channel is something I need to use for my videos, compositing etc and I normally do not want to use or see them. You might like alpha channel but not having any ability to disable or enable is very inconvenient indeed, especially when I need to look at most of my images against white or checkered board background.

Sure, here is an image that has alpha, as you see you cannot actually see the whole image due to alpha channel

Okay, I see. However, I cannot do anything here, at least not easily enough. I think most users want to see all channels most of the time.kartal wrote:Sure, here is an image that has alpha, as you see you cannot actually see the whole image due to alpha channel[/img]

Well, I think that having an option is would always the best ideafor this kind of stuff. For people like me XYplorer image viewer is useless at the moment for certain instances.
