You were right, I don't like the tab gun either, especially when you click on a location that takes a couple of seconds to open, you don't know what's happening.
And coming back to my earlier "anchor"-symbol-idea, I still think it would be nice to see, that a tab is locked with its symbol.

I was wondering why this should work for browsing tabs only - it doesn't, works for SR tabs as well, great!
