I watched the video but it would help to as simply as possible describe the problem (as you see it) here so that it can be found later via forum search if needed, ok? Thanks!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

But not good enough. Please use written language for bug reports.

sure, new item creation didn't work.

You try to create a new item, it will first attempt at renaming the first item in list (beeing a file or a folder), then if you escape will create a folder named as the new file was supposed to be named, a folder who contains the good new file.

edit: Ok I tried to actually rename that first file in the list, and I also tried to do that in an empty folder: it made me rename an empty space (since there was no file), which crashed XY. Then, and from now on it seems, it works. Dunno which action lead it to correct the behavior, strange cosmos..

ps: exploring the program folder also let me see I had a "dump" folder in it.
well I know where it came from, but I don't understand how I could possibly do that, since it's the first time I browse XY dir.. guess it was a bad move from me, somehow..
