Add "create new text file" to the toolbar

Yop,

I use to create a lot of new text files, and I wonder if I could add a button to do it faster, directly on the toolbar... I'm sure there is already something I could use, but when I tried to search the forum, new & file got ignored

So you've looked at http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/New_Items, right?

And what you're wanting is that or more like Econventional dit>New>New Textfile?
Because that can be done via KS (keybd shrtcut) and the KS can be customized as you may know.

BTW, if you're having trouble searching forum, you can always try the wiki instead...though I thought Don had changed the min string len for forum search to 2 chars some time ago but it may have gotten reset back.

What j_c_hallgren didn't mention is that Custom Toolbar Buttons (or CTB) are on Don's roadmap of features to be added.
So eventually it will be possible for you to add your own buttons and actions to the toolbar.
