Attach files into default email client

Post by serendipity »

While dragging and dropping files into email client is workable, it would be really nice to be able to attach files directly from within XY either with scripting or with context menu. Anybody buying this idea?
PS: I tried doing this with mailto protocol with "attach" parameter, but it did not work. I guess if XY implements this, people using email clients would benefit a lot.

Googling this:
http://www.google.com/search?client=ope ... 8&oe=utf-8
gave this:
http://www.example-code.com/vbdotnet/Em ... Attach.asp

Thats for VB.net, not sure if that works though.

Well, that would be full email support. Of course, I could do that, but this is not my idea of a file manager...

You might find some little freeware for the job that you can automate from XY...
