"Full Row Select" + "Dbl-click on empty space goes up"

Post by Plastic »

Hello,

I am quite a lazy guy, and as such, I am quite fond of the "Dbl-click" on empty space feature. I always find me clicking on the white when I have to use Windows Explorer...
I also like the "Full Row Select" as it makes it easier to select a file in the list.

But, if I use these two features concurrently on a folder with lots of files, "Dbl-click" lose a lot of it appeal, as it only works on the little space before the filenames.

It would be great if we could also double-click on the right of the last column. Currently, it seems "Full Row Select" has no limit on the right.

To be clearer, I attached a picture.
With "Full Row Select" activated, "Dbl-Click to go up" only works in the green area.
I would like it to work in the red area as well.

What do you think about it ?

Yes, just another outstanding example of how quickly good ideas can get implemented by Don, right? As I read timestamps, it was less than one hour from time of your request to beta being avail...I just about defy any other File Mgr app to have this type of response to users. :D
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

That was somewhat presumed...but even so, acting upon another item like this shows excellent customer support skills, IMO.

Not to forget excellent coding skills, and a source code that's in a shape that allows to make such changes quickly and safely.
