Search tab

Post by Orson »

I know I set up a separate Search tab in an earlier version of XY, but now I can't find where to do this. Help says:

"In Configuration/Advanced, you can choose where the search results shall be listed: on the Current tab, a New tab, or a tab called "Search results" (automatically created if not yet existing)."

I do not see the specified items under Configuration/Advanced.

What am I missing here?

Hummm...I know these choices are in the Options tab within Find Files on IP, but I don't recall that being a config option...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Got it! Options tab under Find Files does it.

indeed... that part of the help file should be updated:
Help wrote: Search results to tab

In Configuration/Advanced, you can choose where the search results shall be listed: on the Current tab, a New tab, or a tab called "Search results" (automatically created if not yet existing).
Maybe to something like "In the Find Files | Options tab you can choose..."
