You don't need to write out a wonderful testimony each and every time you speak of File Managers. :P
 Well, I didn't want to be that bad, but when someone asks "why not WE?", I just tried to say what led me to using an alternative, and a couple of other features that I use most often, as others did in same thread.

Besides, talk about fanboys...those Dir Opus users are really that! One or two long comments by me compared to dozens/hundreds of shorter DO posts still leaves DO in the lead for total text, right? And given that XY is the relative unknown (IMO) compared to the "trio", a little more backgound why I like the product shouldn't hurt that much...at least I hope that's true.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

I think just getting to the final 5 is a great accomplishment. I didn't expect xyplorer to best the others (or even "other") when it got there. But the exposure is important. There have been many times on the Lifehacker Hive Five polls that I've checked out applications that haven't garnered the most votes. Mostly I do this based on positive comments.

I expect we'll see many new faces in the forums over the next couple weeks.

(They'll probably all be asking for DualPane. ;^)
