New Glow-Up Dialogs do not have Default Selected

Post by Jeeves »

XY: 28.30.2200 - Win 10 - 100% scaling.
I believe this is with all or most of the glow-up dialogs, however I can't confirm that without testing each.

However, when opening these glow-up'd dialogs, many of them do not have a proper default set. Pressing enter doesn't do anything, requiring either mouse movement or tabbing.

For eaxmple; I have a button to Flatten a folder. It pops up, I'm used to hitting enter or spacebar. Neither does anything.
However the default button/tab order is set; It doesn't seem to accept the inputs that the older dialogs did.

Perhaps a thread for 'glow-up' dialog bugs already exists? If not, well, here's another.

Similar change since converting the search/replace rename to a 'glow up' dialog.
The default selection, seems to be the entry at the bottom of the list.

1. Select some thing(s)
2. Start Search / Replace Rename
3. Enter a previously used item in the text box, so that it will present a list of options
4. Press the down arrow
5. Instead of moving from the text box to the next item down, the selection seems to start at the bottom of the selection pop-up.

See attached Video. I also ran a key-press indicator so it was understood what was occurring.

Woo!

As for #2, this Is something I do relatively frequently, since I use a couple of search/replace strings often, and it only started happening in the last 2-4 weeks. Once I saw that glowing-up the dialogs was going on, I assumed it was related to that, but 🤷‍♂️

Edit: Something must have been changed in the recent beta? #2 works normally now - Attached.
