Keyboard shortcut to switch Tabsets

Post by rpnfan »

I started to use Tabsets heavily and love that feature, but I miss a way to quickly switch between tabsets (toggle, cycle or go to a specific one and/or icons). Possibly a cylce-hotkey would be the feature I would end up using. Then I could have 3 tabsets defined in the loop and just quickly change to the one I need -- a bit like Alt-tabbing in Windows.

Another idea (instead or in addition) would be to allow to pin tabsets to the tabset-menu, for quick access.

There's a nice TB button for tabsets that has a dropdown list with all your tabsets.

Thanks a lot Ralf,

so one wish I had is already implemented. :-) That helps a bit.

The same dropdown should appear in the Tabset-menu _and_ it would be highly beneficial to be able to assign a keyboard shortcut as well. The icon already allows to select the tabsets by number, so the only thing missing is a shortcut you can define to open the tabset-icon.

I hope Don sees the added value and will implement these in upcoming releases.
