After kicking out the dear old tree, I have started to build my catalog even more.
Anyway, in my catalog all categories are collapsed except the one currently in use. Its nice that using right or left key on category expands or collapses them. But you have to make sure you are always on category or it doesnt work.
Would it be possible to collapse or expand a category when left or right key is used anywhere in the catalog? Especially since it isnt assigned to anything now.
Also, jumping to next category by one click would be useful, especially if it can collapse currently expanded category and jump to next category and expand it. Maybe page keys.

1. Yes, done. (no mention in history, too easy...)serendipity wrote:Would it be possible to collapse or expand a category when left or right key is used anywhere in the catalog? Especially since it isnt assigned to anything now.

2. Nope, not that easy. Maybe later...

Is that "history" = beta forum change notes? If so, remember that it's also a way for people to be aware of changed/new behaviors and the source for my blog, so a one line note would be enough to notify users.admin wrote:1. Yes, done. Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

How could I ever forget? Still, there's stuff unworthy for the change log.j_c_hallgren wrote:Is that "history" = beta forum change notes? Unworthy? Yes, if it doesn't change how it works to a user...if there is any effect on user, then it (IMHO) needs the briefest mention so user know that:admin wrote:How could I ever forget? Still, there's stuff unworthy for the change log.
1) they're not having a problem
2) they're not going nuts when it works differently
3) we can isolate any problems back to that, because we both know that a extremely minor change can still cause bugs in other areas!

You will have noted by now that I did not exactly as you wished but exactly as the Tree works already. It really is expected Windows behavior so does not need much talk.serendipity wrote:Thanks!
