I cannot make any changes. Every time I close XYplorer, I see the following error messages. Clicking OK on the last one finally lets me close it out.
Cannot save changes to XYplorer

Re: Cannot save changes to XYplorer
OK, you linked to a post. Are you saying I need to change the C:\Program Files\XYplorer\Startup.ini to include the code given in that post?
If so, do I just paste that in at the end? Or is that code going to replace info already in the .ini?

Replace the content of the Startup.ini file with the code from that linked post and ofc you need to start your text editor with admin rights to be able to do this

Re: Cannot save changes to XYplorer
I looked in C/Program Files/XYplorer and I don't have a startup.ini folder there.

File, not folder. Create it then…

Re: Cannot save changes to XYplorer
Thanks. That was it. Not only are my changes being saved now, but I'm no longer seeing those error messages every time I close out.
Now that I have your ear, that code is obviously the only thing in my newly-created startup.ini.
What else would I want to put in there, if anything? Speed tweaks? I suppose if I'm not coming here very often for help (I'm not), XYplorer runs seamlessly for me and I'm just fine with how it runs now. But if one is good, two has to be better...

Re: Cannot save changes to XYplorer
It's just for defining the startup path, nothing else.
