Reoccurring problems with the Find Files Dialog

Hi all,

In the Find Files dalog:

1) I keep deselecting the "Selected locations" checkbox, but again and again I notice that "all of a sudden" it is checked again. That said, I work a lot with different tabs and sessions. What could be the cause? I don't want it to be checked.

2) Similar thing happens with the file types drop down in the Find Files dialog. Every once and again it changes to something else than "All types". I think that I accidently do that myself, not sure how. Is there a way how to "lock" that drop down vlaue so that I would have to jump through 3 loops in order to unlock it. I always want to have it fixed a the value "All types".

I noticed smth similar sometimes with Search tab in Info Panel, but couldn't track a sure pattern. In my case, the main clue was the hibernation - after waking, XY sometimes presented me with old search setup that i was doing some months ago, and it always was same old one. It felt like there is some "backup settings instance" that was recovered for unknown reason.

I didn't check, but IIRC each tab will remember its own Find settings if Configuration | Find and Filter | Find Files & Branch View | Find Files | Show search results in is set to Current Tab.
