Inputfolder dialog
Is there any particular reason that XY doesn't use the same type of dialog for inputfolder as it does for inputfile? The inputfolder one is so frustrating because it doesn't have a navigation pane and it's not possible to enter a folder path into the address bar. It makes selecting a folder less user-friendly. From what I understand it is possible to use the same type of input for both. I have searched the forum and found a result for someone asking the same question in 2014 but received no replies. https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic ... og#p108129

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Yes. Sorry if that wasn't clear but I did say inputfolder and inputfile, which are scripting commands.

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Both commands are wrappers for standard Windows dialogs. The Select File dialog cannot return folders. It's designed like that.

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Sorry, I obviously didn't make it clear what I meant. I didn't mean use the file dialog for folders. I meant use the same 'type' of dialog for folders. As per the screenshot, it is possible to have a folder select dialog that includes the navigation pane and an address bar.

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Of course it does, I showed you a screenshot of it. That's the Firefox folder select dialog to set the download folder. I have other apps that use the same folder select dialog. Do you need to see screenshots of those, too?

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Alright, it might be possible. No time now, but it's on the list.

Now was just 4 hours before.
When you a put out a proper request combined with specific hints you get him going. That attitude makes XY's Don the GDOAT.

Re: Inputfolder dialog
Hi Don, I see it's in the latest 64-bit beta. Will it be included in the 32-bit beta?
