Separators in Toolbar

I think they USED to go all the way across the Toolbar. Now mine at least only go about half-way across (down) the Toolbar.

Is this part of the overhaul or ...

I think I prefer them to go all the way across (down). Can this be changed?

Yes, that's part of the redesign. But it shouldn't be as crass as you say. Could you show a screenshot?

And while we are being picky about appearance, I don't much fancy the new Dual Pane Toolbar icon. Two blank panels side-by-side looks a bit, well, blank to me. How about a blue mark/thick line in each where the Drives would show up .... or something.

I get it about upgrading/changing the appearance for younger users (one of which I am not) - but I like colorful icons on my toolbars and suspect they might too (if they use toolbars) - smileys and all that.

And also FWIIW, I think XY needs a more colorful and suggestive main icon. Personally I use a file image overlain by a sextant with + - signs on it taken from the old PowerDesk (attached). Again, FWIIW which may not be much.
