Mapped drives not appearing any more...
Hello,
Suddenly my mapped drives doesn't appear in the main tree.
I have to click on the pane to see them, despite setings...
Any clues ?
I have the 64-bit version

Yes...
And as it's working correctly with the portable 32bit version, I'll move this the "Bug Reports"

Re: Mapped drives not appearing any more...
I assume your signature with the XY version number is a mistake as there was never a 64bit version in the v23.x series.

Re: Mapped drives not appearing any more...
Get the current portable betas x64 and x86, extract them to their own folders and run them.
Do not configure them at all.
Then show a full screenshot of each of the 2 windows including the tree...

Thanks for answering.
Here are the screenshots:
32bit:
64bit:
And the Windows File Explorer:
What is strange is, if I click on both tabs to make the mapped drives appearing in the tree on my 64bit version, and then relaunch the "stock" portables, the drives are now there on their respective trees...

Re: Mapped drives not appearing any more...
I typed both IP address directly, then mapped them.
I can't remember if I made this within XYplorer or Windows...

Re: Mapped drives not appearing any more...
Remove both mappings!
Open a command prompt with admin rights and execute these commands:
Reboot the computer, redo the mappings.
Delete the two beta XY folders, extract them again, run them.
Do X and Y appear in the tree without navigating to them?
Open a command prompt with admin rights and execute these commands:
Code: Select all
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider" /v "RestoreConnection" /t REG_DWORD /d "0x00000000" /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" /v "EnableLinkedConnections" /t REG_DWORD /d "0x00000001" /f

Mapping was done within XYplorer...

64bit:
So far so good...
BUT, I restart the laptop and all is gone... again...
It's crazy, as it disappeared overnight !

Re: Mapped drives not appearing any more...
Try enabling the top 3 settings in this section of config if they aren't, then restart XY.
Configuration | General | Safety Belts, Network | Network
Are you using like a dev build of WIn11?
