Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

When right-clicking a file in the Recycle Bin, the "Restore" option is missing from the context menu.
1) 28.30.0704
2) Windows 11
3) Screen Scaling Percentage 100%
The menu that appears when you right-click on the Recycle Bin inside XY. There is no Restore option.
The menu that appears when you right-click on the Windows Recycle Bin. There is a Restore option.
I’m using a Korean version of Windows, so it might be difficult for you to check the menu in the attached screenshot. Sorry about that.
I remember this as a bug that didn't exist in 28.30.0600.

But nothing has been changed here.

Okay. The Recycle Bin recovery menu has disappeared for all 600, 500, and 400 version. it's not normal.admin wrote: ↑10 Jun 2026 18:29But nothing has been changed here. Can you recheck by downloading and testing 28.30.0600? (see viewtopic.php?p=237567#p237567)
The last thing that changed on my computer is that I recently installed a Windows patch.

The question is: was Restore ever there in the 64-bit version of XYplorer?

What's the last version where it was present?

Re: When right-clicking a file in the Recycle Bin, the "Restore" option is missing from the context menu.
I can't remember exactly. In May, the XY homepage kept showing an "overloaded" error and I couldn't access it, so I must have used one version for a month.
Plus, I know for a fact I restored a file from the recycle bin at least last week, so I think it’s around version 0300 or 0500.

Maybe you checked Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Context Menus | Native context menu? Uncheck it.

Hm, can't explain it then. And I can't confirm it. Over here the Restore command is present in the menu.

Re: When right-clicking a file in the Recycle Bin, the "Restore" option is missing from the context menu.
Oh, I remember now. I actually submitted bug reports regarding v28.30.0224, v28.30.0206, and v28.30.0205, but I gave up on them.
Therefore, I must have used v28.30.0300 throughout May 100%. Also, I recovered files from the Recycle Bin a lot before that, and I did it frequently on 0300 as well.

Yes. That's why I showed you the screenshot of the update from June 10th, thinking it might be related to Windows Update. It's not related?

The 64-bit version does not use any .NET. The context menus should be identical (plus XY's extra commands) to those in File Explorer.
