Re: hover on file
Using XY 28.30.0700 on Win10.
Hmmm ... I thought I was having mouse issues until I saw this post. Now I'm not sure if it's the mouse or XY.
I hover and select a file. When moving the mouse away, a different file is selected.
I rolled back to 28.30.0500 and XY is behaving as expected. Back to 28.30.0700 and the mentioned behavior returns.

Re: hover on file
Updated to 28.60.0701 and the issue remains. I left-click select a file in the list and move the cursor down (or up) and without clicking the mouse the file under the cursor is selected.
This does not happen when using a fresh instance of XY.

Re: hover on file
What you describe is the point-to-select functionality as it should be.
(It's not the OP's issue)

Re: hover on file
Well I'll be damned! So it is. For whatever reason I never noticed it before. Interesting that when I rolled back to an earlier version I didn't see that behavior. Oh well. I disabled it and I'm good to go.
Carry on with the OP's issue and thanks.

How about you read the highlighted part at the top of this page (where it says "READ THIS AND DO IT") and give us some information of your environment, so we (or mainly Don) don't have to guess all the time?
