Mapped drives not appearing anymore...

Post by Alain Terrieur »

I'll copy what I already posted in the "Questions" section...

Hello,
Suddenly my mapped drives doesn't appear in the main tree.
I have to click on the pane to see them, despite setings...
Any clues ?

It's correctly working with Windows file explorer AND the portable 32-bit version...

Your tree background looks grey. Looks like a locked tree. If that's true then unchecking Tools | Customize Tree | Lock Tree will solve your issue.

But it's been like this for months, even before I bought the 64-bit version...

If so, what is the setting to "forbid" to expand drives in the tree view ?

First, make the tree how you like it, then lock it.

Ummmm... but you told me to "unlock" it...
I'm confused...

Besides, even with "lock tree" i can expand the drive...

Yes, locking the tree only blocks automatic expansion.

There is no bug here and nothing has changed. But now I'm confused about what you want.

What I want...
Simply that my mapped drives are there when I open XYplorer... which is NOT the case !
I have to click the pane to have "Y" and "Z" drives on the tree view...

And when you say "locking the tree only blocks automatic expansion" is seems not true...
See the pic, the tree is grey, so "locked" but if I click on the + it expands !

1. Unlock the Mini Tree
2. Select your mapped drives so that there are added to the Mini Tree (but do not expand them)
3. Lock the Mini Tree

Your other point: automatic is the crucial term here.

I don't use "mini Tree"
I tried it BUT it doesn't show the "web" drives like pCloud, Koofr, etc...
