:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

cut and paste from windows explorer to XYplorer makes copy of file

Post by RicoVD »

I noticed a behavior when using Cut & Paste between Windows File Explorer and XYplorer version: 28.10.0508 (64 bit).

If I select a file in Windows File Explorer, choose Cut, and then Paste it into a target folder in XYplorer, the following happens:

- The file is pasted into the destination folder in XYplorer
- But the original file remains in Windows File Explorer

So instead of a move operation, this results in a copy, with the file existing in both locations.

In the 32 bit version of XYplorer this does not happen and the file is moved as expected.
