How to replicate:
- Create a new folder anywhere, and name it "test" in the tree (not the list!)
- While the folder name is still in editing mode, click on another list tab
What I expected to happen:
Leaving editing mode by clicking on another tab should act as confirmation for the new name and the folder should be named "test".
This is the behaviour seen when clicking anywhere else (like another folder in the tree, empty space in the tree, or the list view). Editing a folder name in the list view and clicking on another tab will act as confirmation and rename the folder as expected.
What actually happens:
XYplorer will discard the user input and revert the folder name to the one before renaming ("New Folder" in this case).
(Version tested: x64 v28.10.0501 and some previous versions)

Re: Renaming a folder in the tree and switching to another tab discards new name
Strange. I tried on Windows 10 with x64 v28.10.0501 and Windows 11 with x64 v28.10.0204:
It doesn't matter whether I create a new folder or try to rename an existing one, or where the folder is located and where the other tab points to.

Interesting, I can reproduce that on a fresh v28.10.0502 as well...

Yeah, the struggle with configs is real. But we love XYplorer for it's configurability.
Thanks for fixing it so quickly, it's working well now
