How to hide Ext in file list?

Due to the fresh install and copying my settings INI file, I seem to have lost this setting somewhere. I tried searching in the settings dialogue, but it doesn't seem to be there.
In the ListView I always use Details View. It used to display filenames without extension, but now all files are shown as: filename.ext
I have the Type column enabled so would rather not have two places where extensions are shown.
I also want to keep the current setting where double click renames a file and it shows the extension here, but only while renaming the file.

How do I get that back, can someone please help. Thanks very much.

Ah thanks, sorry, I don't use the menu bar so forgot about it!
