I'll post the screenshot here just to confirm if I did it correctly.

Anyway, the hover box doesn't appear when hovering over.

Yes, I understood that, but it's really not showing the hover box when I hover the mouse pointer to any folder/file on the tree or the list.

Untick "Show Hover Box". This is about File Info Tips.

Oh, I didn't know SHIFT was needed.

Anyway, I think it was a problem with OneDrive itself, as I did absolutely nothing, didn't restart the computer, OneDrive or XY, and it's working fine again, but here's the info anyway:

And even the weird icon disappeared.

That red thing, what you call a weird icon, is a color filter. I wanted to know the nature of that filter. Now it's too late. :)

Well, I think there is something to fix. But if it's gone by miracle, there's nothing left to do.

Well it should be easy to spot that D94235 color in Tools | List Management | Color Filters anyway, to me it looks like it is an exact match for the default overlong filenames filter, so I'd guess it is that, unless you reused that exact color for a custom filter.

Of course! :appl:

The distinctive shape visible in the screenshot also supports the overlong filenames theory. But why is the name in the screenshot far from overlong? :maf:
