After XY has been running for a while (hours), I notice that it does not always Auto update changes in the Tree or List.
I have Auto update ticked - so is there something else I should be doing/have done?
Happy New Year all.

Re: Also on Update
Are you talking about Configuration | General | Refresh, Icons, History | Auto-Refresh | Auto-refresh?

Re: Also on Update
Okay, "not always" is extremely vague. Any plans to reveal some details?

Re: Also on Update
Rest assured I would if there was much more to say but . .....
The auto refresh seems not to work when XY has been loaded and running for a few hours. If I do F5 it works again but then stops working again after a few more hours unless I do F5 again and so on. If I reboot auto refresh works for a few hours without F5 but then I need to do F5 to refresh. In the past the auto refresh (without doing F5) SEEMED to work for longer but not sure for how much longer since I have not done timings on it.
I have not made any major changes to my machine but of course regular Windows updates etc. Hope that is more useful.

Re: Also on Update
I don't think auto refresh weakens over time. Not in my experience.

Maybe check your "Various Information" for clues... In Help menu, Ctrl+Click on "Various Information."
Another thing to try... Save a backup of all your settings/customizations, then make a default/out-of-the-box version of XY and run that for a few hours. See if the problem occurs.

Re: Also on Update
No need to do any of that. Just type
::fresh in the address bar and hit enter. A default instance of XY will open leaving the already opened one untouched.-

Re: Also on Update
If that's the case, then it's a Windows bug. With Auto-Refresh, XYplorer simply acts on notifications from Windows.

That would make sense at least.
