Cursor Focused Zoom on image preview

Would it be possible to add an option where zooming in on an image starts where your cursor is on the image.

For instance if I'm looking at a photo of a face and my intent is to look closer at the left eye, now, when I Zoom in it will start in the middle or nose area and get bigger from that point, and I'll have to drag the photo to bring the left eye back into view.
Instead, I'd like to have my cursor on the left eye and when I zoom it will stay focused on the left eye. Supposedly, moving towards the center of the preview box as the eye gets bigger.

Mouse Down Blow Up does exactly this for all previews and thumbnails. You can apply a fixed zoom to the blowup: Configuration | Preview | Mouse Down Blow Up | General | Apply zoom

Unfortunately, that's not it. Unless I'm using it wrong, all I'm getting is another enlarged picture.

What I'm looking for would blow up at the location of your cursor. So if you're already looking at an enlarged picture, using the preview pane, if you're trying to zoom in on a photo of face to see more details in the the eye, putting the cursor on the eye would enlarge the eye until it took up the majority of the preview pane.

You get an enlarged picture centered exactly at the mouse position.

But yes, I see that's not exactly what you want. You did not mention it but I assume you are talking about zooming in using the wheel and by preview you mean the Floating Preview?

I was clear on what I wanted, but it seems like your mind might've been more focused on the holidays than actually comprehending the request.

I’m asking for the zoom to center on the area where my cursor is, so if it is on an eye, in the FLOATING PREVIEW that’s where the zoom should happen when I use the WHEEL, not the entire image.
