MDBU Resolution

Post by phred »

Using XY 28.10.0200 64bit on Win10

Not sure if is a recent bug or I've changed a setting but when I MDBU (left mouse down) the image is not sharp. When I MDBU (right mouse down) the image stays up (as expected) and is sharp. When using the preview pane and the preview tab in the info panel the image is sharp. I'm fairly certain this is a recent development. I can't recall it happening when using XY 32bit and I -think- it was working as expected a month or so ago.

MDBU left mouse down:

Any reason why you did not attach the pic in question?

Only because I didn't think it all the way through. I thought what was posted would suffice, but now I realize that in order to test it and see for yourself, the original is necessary.

Your first image in the OP that shows the issue is HoverBox not MDBU, and you have it in Zoom to Fit mode, so press "Z" (or Ctrl+Z depending on your settings) while it's showing in that state, or just zoom out.

Right you are, Jupe. My mistake. It's the hover box that's the issue. Well, I guess it's -me- that's the issue. And "Z" resolves the zooming issue.

Thanks.

I am unsure why, but in Zoom to Fit mode, if the jpeg has a exif thumbnail, that is used instead of the original in some cases, that is why the quality looks so bad,
