This is wonderful. Thank you. I like the right click in the white area, too.

Could a custom event by clicking in the white area be used for that command. How do you create custom event actions?

Ctrl+P does not always return the current tree folder, depending on where is the focus and what is selected. The new beta version, v28.00.1204, offers a new command that's better: File | To Clipboard | Real Tree Path (Ctrl+R).

That's cool. Doesn't right clicking the white space and copy path work just as well?

Also, I think I would like to create a button and have it do CTRL + R. Could you kindly instruct me on the process.

Add a user button and use #286; for the on-left click script

Hmm...I get scripting error that says the command does not exist. Is there another step?

There is another step: Upgrade to v28.00.1204. :)

Is that version available? Doesn't appear to be.

I still show CTRL+R as being on "Suspend Auto-Refresh". And also, I don't seem to be able to uncheck the option for it.

Looks like it was supposed to be removed a while ago:
v24.80.0017 - 2023-08-21 13:05
* View | Suspend Auto-Refresh: Removed the default keyboard shortcut Ctrl+R. It's wasted here.

As you can see, I am on XYplorer 28.00.1200 (64-bit).

And what has this to do with the necessary beta version v28.00.1204?

I tried the new Beta version and my Windows Defender flagged it, even though I have that one excluded. Just seemed odd that the shortcut was still in that latest (non-beta) release, and that I could not turn off the Suspend Auto-Refresh.

1) Suspend Auto-Refresh is forced in some contexts. It just means: Auto-Refresh is not possible here.

2) If you have already assigned Ctrl+R to some other function then the upgrade to v28.00.1204 will not touch that.
