Very interesting... What version of XYplorer are you using?

I recommend not changing the source code. Instead, open Settings > Theme tab, find Show sections in Menu text and uncheck locked tabs below it.

This option is disabled by default and I have not enabled it.

IF I have XYplorer open with the "This PC" tab PINNED, then when the save dialog opens, it closes saving a file named "This PC". If the tab with "This PC" is not fixed or the tab with the name "This PC" is not open, then there is no bug!
I tried to fix this issue in version 1.4.6. You can also change the tab number that AutoSwitchwill activate. Open Settings > Menu tab.

QuickSwitch βeta 1.8.6
Fixed regressions
  • Fixed Menu Settings window positioning.
  • Fixed Menu positioning after pressing Ctrl+Shift+Win+0.
  • After enabling "AutoSwitch" option, the file dialog may have closed (#77).
Fixed bugs
  • The Menu displayed incorrect paths from Xyplorer after disabling the (show) locked tabs option on Settings > Theme tab.
  • The Menu displayed system and special directories (e.g. Recycle Bin) that did not work.
  • Some localized paths (depending on the system language) did not work (e.g. C:\Benutzer, C:\Användare, ...) (#98).

1.8.6 no bug! :)
Great job!

And I will also make a suggestion: setting the shift of the menu along the X axis relative to the dialog box. Because if the menu is large in width, it closes the list of files.

Another suggestion: the ability to hide the "AutoSwitch" and "Blacklist" items from the menu.

You can enable Settings > Short path as a workaround.

Maybe I'll add this setting along with the new Menu options soon... ;)

Currently I don't want to add Menu positioning settings as it might break something. However, instead of using the list of folders on the left side you can pin/add your favorite paths. To prevent the list of files overlapping, turn on ShortPath...

Also you can remove this line and change this line to Gui, Show, , Settings and change this line to Menu, % "ContextMenu", % "Show", then menu will appear near your mouse pointer which you can place anywhere at the screen.
