XY exits when stepping scripts

Hi all,

I have found that sometimes when stepping (via Scripting->Step Mode) through scripts XY will exit abruptly. Nothing appears in the Windows event log and I don't where else to look for more info.

same here when using SC step.

"sometimes" ... can you give a little more detail?

I assume it happens after left-clicking Continue? If yes, this is a more general issue ("Ghost tooltip") that has been reported to TB on 10/15/25, 4:42 PM, and we're all hoping for a fix tomorrow.

Sorry, I missed this.

I turn on script stepping via Scripting->Step Mode.
Then run some scripts multiple times stepping it each time using the "Continue" button.

At some seemingly random point, while stepping a script, clicking the "Continue" button causes XY to exit abruptly.

Looking forward to TB fixing it.

Well, I'm tired of waiting for the TB fix. I'll try another workaround tomorrow.

The TB fix happened, so the issue should be history in the next beta.
