Congrats Don, nice place to be noted, especially after all the hassle with WP.

On the same page there's now a new user review which gives only 4 of 5 points because the program "is much more powerful than than it first appears". Quite flattering con I must say...

:? I was like "huh?" when I read this
Cons: It is much more powerful than than it first appears. The casual user will not take the time to understand and use the software.
I'm sure we have plenty of casual users who use XY and never use all the features of it and are yet still quite pleased since it does what they need...and that's what matters!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Just the briefest of mentions of scripting so I guess when scripting 2 arrives this will blow the competition away. The trick now is to convince basic users that because it is more powerful than it seems even they can exploit this easily.

Not knowing how the competitive products are coded or designed I wonder if scripting for them is a massive coding re-write whilst it appears XY7 is built around scripting.

A good demo script showing multiple common tasks linked and the reviews should be very interesting reading!
