Re: 64 bit version - font always with ClearType ON
I have gone through all the options for ClearType settings multiple times. There isn't one that returns the original unaltered crisp text that one can get without ClearType. Every single variation alters the view in an undesirable way. Makes the text thicker, blurrier, more congested and less efficient on the screen (to some degree). I'm not sure I understand the need for thicker text unless there is a vision impairment. I am using the latest windows 10 on a 2k monitor. The screenshot I am including is of the last 32-bit version on my system with no ClearType enabled. Text is crisp and thin, taking up the minimal amount of screen space necessary to be readable (for me).

@boltz: It's probably a TB thing, not XY, and they working on it. See post from Don!
Software: should we be aware because it's soft ? I like to think not !
Re: 64 bit version - font always with ClearType ON
I just upgraded to xyplorer64_full_noinstall_28.00.0700.rar on Windows10 and I do confim this is now *FIXED*, no more forced ClearType. Looks like I should have checked just a couple days later. Good to be 64-bit. Thank you!
