Highlighted text color

Post by noembryo »

This might have a setting already (most probably), but I couldn't find it.
Normal folder text (never mind the icons ;) )
High1.png
A highlighted folder text
High2.png
Highlighted folder text with a darker background color
High3.png
The last one is problematic, because the text stays dark even if the background color is dark also.
Is there a way to change the highlighted text to some other color?

It's not that important. I just now discovered that we could highlight folders, and I was just playing with it.. :)

You can define text and back color here: Tools | List Management | Highlighted Folders..., for example:

Code: Select all

This PC>FAFA4E,462402
Syntax: Path>textcolor,backcolor (colors in RRGGBB)

From what I can understand, you can customize the already highlighted folders, but you can't set the default?
Or I'm missing something else?
Any way to specify wildcards?

Hm, yes, good point. Well, I guess that's why it's called Highlight, not Lowlight. :)

PS: Next beta will default to white text color if back is dark.

It's the Dark mode's Highlight ;)

Maybe something in the Color filters would be nice.
Something like

Code: Select all

attr:highlight>..

Any other setting that can be influencing it?
Unchecked "Adaptive colors" and played a little with the other settings of Dark mode, but nothing seems to make the text white.. :?

Yes. Enabling and disabling Color filters doesn't change anything..

Did you already try to toggle Highlighted Folder off and back on for that folder?
