Hello. I'd love if there was a feature that would give me easy access to folders that I use the most. Something like a dropdown menu named "Frequent Folders" or something.
Thanks for consideration
List of frequently opened folders

Re: List of frequently opened folders
Subsidiary query
There is a line of folder links at the top of my page
I was wondering if that hampers the speed of my computer
or, what use may be made of them?
I usually employ the Tree links left hand of screen to open any one of my 500 folders
Thank you

Re: List of frequently opened folders
Check your settings, it would appear that every time you open a folder from the tree, you create a new open tab.
And, yes, this could certainly slow down your XY experience.

Re: List of frequently opened folders
If you're not using the tabs to switch between folders (which would be a shame), you could close all but one tab (in both panes), then set Reuse existing tabs and the maximum number of tabs to 1.
(Settings tabs and Panes/Tabs, see below). Then make this one tab the default tab in the tab context menu, see below. Re PS: Not into NRL, so your team could have won the trophy for all I care.

Re: List of frequently opened folders
Again, Thank you for extended advice Ralph.
Re: List of frequently opened folders
Success, many thanks Ralph.
Do not understand why it may be a "shame"
I am working with 400,000 images in 7,917 folders
I cannot understand how tabs would be a benefit
The Tree structure is the fastest I have found.
If I search for say "Mangrove Apple" in 400,000 F3 gets me there in a nanoseconds
then "go to location" and I am working the folder straight away.
Cheers

Re: List of frequently opened folders
A shame, because tabs and even more so tabsets are probably the best features of XY IMHO.
Happy to hear that you have got your settings sorted.
