FAQ for speeding up XY via Exclusion in Defender not working for Win 11

Referring to this FAQ, https://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=mse it sounds like a sensible thing to do. For Win 11, the process is entirely different, but one can bludgeon one's way to Virus & Threat Protection and add an exclusion. I already have exclusions for all my NAS folders. So I do as suggested and add a Process exception for the two XY exe's, but neither of them 'stick'. As in they don't get added to the list, but no failure message turns up. Maybe they need full path / whatever. I haven't experimented, just suggesting this FAQ be brought up to the same standard as most PC's will be on given the ~demise of Win 10. Or context around it not being that applicable in Win 11, if that is the case. Thank you.
