Manage User-Defined Commands
Manage User-Defined Commands
Hi,
I wish there would be an easier and more intuitive keyboard navigation for window Manage User-Defined Commands.
I wish there would be an access key (alt+<letter>) for Caption and Location.
I wish "OK" button could be "clicked" by Ctrl+Enter.
more complicated wishes:
* full text search for commands
* search by pushing down the assigned shortcut (this search would need to be first activated and then it would select the command with this shortcut in the list)

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
It works only under some circumstances. If a different button is in focus it "clicks" it - like "Browse..." or "Down". Then I need to "tab" to correct editbox or button so Enter triggers "OK" button.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
I see. I'll add Ctrl+Enter to the next version.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
Thanks!
Unfortunately, it does not work all the time, especially in a context I want it the most. If a "Location" edit box is in focus, ctrl+enter does nothing. It is the same for Run script when I edit the script in the edit box ctrl+enter does nothing.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
This works wonderfully
thank you
What about that "access" keycombos, please?
Location
Caption
cuz tabbing through the controls here is a little counter-intuitive

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
Yes, next beta.
I wonder why I didn't do it right away.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
thanks, I see it underlined. But sadly alt+<thekey> does nothing. Does it work at your place?
Actually non of the button can be accessed. Browse is not "clicked" by alt+w, although it should. Cycling keyboard focus throught various controls does not help (like it does not matter which controls is focusedalt+key still does nothing).
Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
yep, latest beta (27.90.0037)

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
Accelerators are not yet functional in the 64-bit version.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
I see, thanks
.. I thought 32bit versions were already out of support since few months ago. Now I see they are back releasing.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
[Hopefully if I'm in the right topic, otherwise ignore]
The 64-bit edition seems pretty good so far - with one exception: Alt + key combos no longer work.
Tried a couple of betas but the bug (?) wasn't fixed. Latest stable build v28.00.0100 still suffers from it.
Is this going to take a while? Keyboard shortcuts increase productivity, I'm thinking of reverting to v27.20.0000 x86.

Re: Manage User-Defined Commands
It must be fixed upstream and it’s done when it’s done. If you can’t wait, revert until then
