When copying or moving a folder into another folder where a folder of the same name already exists I was hoping to have a pop-up dialog box giving me the options to "merge", "add suffix" and "cancel."
To achieve this in Tools/Configuration/File Operations/Custom Copy - I have left the "On name collisions:" set to "Ask" and checked the "Rename folders on collision" option but this automatically adds a suffix without alerting me and giving me the chance to merge or cancel.
The tool tip for "Rename folders on collision" says that the handling of files is defined above where it is set to "Ask" but it doesn't ask!
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Custom Copy Operations
Sorry @admin, I should have said, "Ask before merging folders" and "Ask before over-writing read only files" are also checked but it still just suffixes the folder without a dialog box asking if I want to.

Re: Custom Copy Operations
Have I done something wrong - this is the first time I've posted an attachment and I can see two copies - can everyone see two or is this because I posted it that only I can see two?

Re: Custom Copy Operations
I don't know how I achieved that - I simply clicked on the image button which produced the "img" tags and I inserted the URL between them and submitted.
Thanks for tidying it up for me.

Re: Custom Copy Operations
I guess if you untick "Rename folders on collision" then folders will not be renamed on collision.

Thanks for this detailed exchange, everyone! It really helps clarify the situation. I’m a new user here, and reading through your discussion has already given me a much better understanding of how Custom Copy Operations work.
