new Filtering Panel

a dynamic Filtering panel that would reside where the tree and catalog do .
it would dynamicaly allow to filter by Extension , Attributes , Label , Tags etc .
Maybe even integrate Columns ( on off via simple click , )
i use such workaround menus for Filters and toggling Columns on/off , but its not integrated , lags and must be always activated as it is a popupmenu ..

i never use the tree so i have real-estate for such a panel

PS.: would work well with hierarchial Tags

Too specific for the average user, but probably scriptable.

Sounds quite like a Catalog with lots of scripted filters, that already can do all that filtering.

yes , thats right .

with cataloglocation() we can get+set LOCATION .
what id need : get+set CAPTION and/or STYLING .
that would make for a visualy responsive Catalog via scripting and fully satisfy the request

@Don , possible to add these parameters to the cataloglocation() ?

its kinda what the toolbar buttons already can do , but catalog would be more powerful
