lock previews

Post by MBaas »

It would be very nice if Floating Preview had an option by which I could "lock" the file - meaning that I could navigate in XY w/o interfering with the preview. But this would then extend naturally into the ability to have multiple previews open - and probably the need a for a "Close All Previews" option.

Just dreaming (and hoping)...

You can lock the preview in the Preview tab: orange button / Freeze Info and Preview.

it's in the context menu of the file icon in the status line, not the orange button ;)

(But ofc in contrast to my suggestion it's not floating and therefore requires the entire xy window when viewing it - but I guess I can live with it ;)

Oh...and "Freezing" the preview also means that it won't update if the file updated - which is counter-purpose (at least for me...)

Depends. With images it's also under the orange button.
