lock previews

It would be very nice if Floating Preview had an option by which I could "lock" the file - meaning that I could navigate in XY w/o interfering with the preview. But this would then extend naturally into the ability to have multiple previews open - and probably the need a for a "Close All Previews" option.

You can lock the preview in the Preview tab: orange button / Freeze Info and Preview.

it's in the context menu of the file icon in the status line, not the orange button

(But ofc in contrast to my suggestion it's not floating and therefore requires the entire xy window when viewing it - but I guess I can live with it

Oh...and "Freezing" the preview also means that it won't update if the file updated - which is counter-purpose (at least for me...)

Depends. With images it's also under the orange button.
